What happens if I fail the exam?
You'll receive your score and a retake link. Retakes are available for a reduced fee. We'll email you instructions within one business day. Your $297 payment covers the credential and listing — only the retake itself is additional.
Is this the same as an IICRC or state license?
No. This is a private knowledge credential issued by MoldGuide.com. It tests your understanding of EPA and industry guidelines but does not constitute a government license or satisfy any state licensing requirements.
What happens if I don't renew?
Your credential expires, the gold badge is removed from your directory profile, and your website badge degrades to a standard Verified display. Your listing also drops from premium back to basic. You can renew at any time to restore everything.
How is the exam delivered?
The exam is online and browser-based. 40 multiple-choice questions, 60-minute time limit. No software to install. Works on desktop or tablet. You get the link immediately after Stripe confirms payment.
