MoldGuide Expert Contributors

A small group of vetted mold professionals whose names and expertise appear in our published content. If you're on this page, you were hand-picked.

What this is

MoldGuide reaches homeowners at the exact moment they're searching for mold help. When we write about remediation techniques, inspection standards, or what to look for in a contractor, we quote real professionals by name. Expert Contributors are the people we quote -- verified pros whose credentials and track record do the talking.

What you get

  • Your name on our experts page

Name, business, city, certifications, and a link to your website -- permanently listed alongside other vetted pros.

  • A citation you can actually use

Point homeowners, insurers, or commercial clients to your MoldGuide listing. It shows up in proposals, on your Google Business Profile, and anywhere else you prove your credentials.

  • Article links when your specialty fits

If we write a piece where your expertise is relevant, we may quote you by name with a link back to your site. Not guaranteed -- but when it happens, it's real referral traffic.

  • A verified expert badge

Drop it in your email signature or on your website alongside your other credentials. Every click links to your profile here.

  • No cost, no commitment

Free to join. No contract. If you ever want your listing removed, just ask.

What you're agreeing to

When you join the program, you're letting us:

  • List your name, business, credentials, and location on this page
  • Quote you by name in mold-related articles, if and when your specialty fits
  • Link from those articles back to your profile here when we do

We'll send a heads-up when a piece featuring you goes live so you can share it. You can pull your listing or any specific reference anytime, just drop us a note. Free, no contract.

Who qualifies

We're looking for working professionals who have been doing this long enough to have real opinions about it. That means an active certification (IICRC, NORMI, IAQA, RIA, or a valid state license), an established business with a verifiable track record, and a willingness to be quoted by name.

We verify credentials against public records before every listing. If you've been in the industry for a while and you're certified, you almost certainly qualify.

Kodie L. Brush

Kodie L. Brush

Steam Green Cleaning and Restoration Inc.

Peoria, IL

Kodie has run Steam Green in Peoria for over 20 years, handling everything from water damage to applied microbial remediation. He's IICRC-certified in structural drying and applied microbial remediation and holds NORMI membership. One thing he sees constantly: homeowners treating mold with bleach-based products, which strips the color but leaves the toxins behind -- and the mold grows back. On porous surfaces especially, the only real fix is proper remediation.
